Mehrgarh is our foundation.
Nine thousand years ago, in the foothills of Balochistan near the Bolan Pass, the people of Mehrgarh built one of the world's earliest known settlements. They fired pottery, cultivated grain, and shaped the land with tools made of bone and stone. This was the dawn of civilization in South Asia — and it happened here, on the soil we still call home.
At JAGG, we believe that true craftsmanship bridges the rugged resilience of Balochistan with clean, purposeful, modern design. If Mehrgarh is our historical foundation, the native Jagg tree is our material inspiration — a living connection to the land that has always given shelter.

The Jagg Tree
For millennia, this native hardwood has thrived in the extremes of Balochistan, driving its roots deep into arid soil to find life. Its timber was so prized for its heavy, unyielding strength that ancient emperors transported it from our mountains to build the grand palaces of Susa.
We engineer our furniture to embody the exact qualities of the Jagg: fiercely resilient, heavily anchored, and built to weather the test of time.
To establish a leading contemporary hardwood furniture company in a market saturated with mass-produced, uninspiring alternatives. As a brand rooted in Balochistan's ancient heritage and committed to sustainability, we must balance our dedication to responsible craftsmanship with the need to reach design-conscious audiences worldwide — especially in Europe, where discerning buyers seek authentic, story-rich pieces.
We drew from Balochistan's earth — sienna, sand, limestone — to build a natural, muted palette that evokes the land where our wood grows. The brand identity abandons traditional typography for bespoke wordmarks inspired by the ancient civilization of Mehrgarh. With flowing spirals and geometric forms echoing indigenous craftsmanship, this authentic identity travels across every touchpoint, from our workshop in Sibi to showrooms in Berlin.

The Visual Language
LOGO
The JAGG identity draws its essence from the ancient civilization of Mehrgarh, Balochistan. Both the English wordmark and its Balochi companion (جگ) are constructed using geometric principles found in ancestral artifacts. The flowing, spiraled forms echo the natural grain of wood and indigenous craftsmanship, bridging historical reverence with contemporary luxury.
