THE ART OF MAKING

Timeless
Craftsmanship

Every piece of JAGG furniture begins as a raw plank and ends as a lasting part of someone's home. The journey between is guided by hand, eye, and decades of collective expertise.

THE WORKSHOP

Built in Sibi,
Balochistan

Our workshop in Sibi is where tradition meets precision. Master craftspeople from across Balochistan work alongside young local apprentices, passing down techniques that have shaped wood for centuries. The space is organized, calm, and purposeful — every tool has its place, every surface tells a story.

We use a blend of hand tools and modern machinery. CNC routers handle precision cuts while chisels, planes, and spokeshaves shape the details that machines cannot feel. This hybrid approach lets us achieve consistency without sacrificing soul.

JOINERY

The Joints That Hold

Precision Joinery

We use traditional mortise-and-tenon, dovetail, and finger joints — techniques proven over millennia. These mechanical connections are stronger than adhesives and allow wood to expand and contract naturally with the seasons.

Natural Finish

Our finishes are hand-rubbed natural oils and plant-based waxes. They penetrate the wood rather than sitting on top, enhancing grain and providing protection without changing the wood's natural feel or appearance.

MATERIALS

Woods We Work With

Dalbergia Sissoo

Balochistan

Locally known as the Jagg tree. Deep, rich grain with exceptional durability and historical significance in the region. Its enduring nature forms the foundation of every piece we craft.

American Walnut

USA

Deep, rich grain with chocolate and espresso tones. Prized for its workability and lasting beauty.

European White Oak

France

Light honey coloring with distinctive medullary rays. Hard-wearing and elegantly understated.

Nordic Ash

Scandinavia

Pale and expressive grain. Flexible yet strong — ideal for curved and sculpted forms.

SUSTAINABILITY

Built for today.
Designed for tomorrow.

We believe the most sustainable product is one that never needs replacing. Every JAGG piece is designed to last generations — to be repaired, refinished, and passed down. We use zero synthetic finishes. Our packaging is plastic-free. Our workshop runs on solar power. And for every Jagg tree we harvest, we plant two more.

DESIGN PROCESS

From Sketch
to Reality

Every JAGG piece begins as a hand sketch — loose, exploratory, and grounded in the material qualities of Jagg wood. These sketches are refined through digital modeling, tested for structural integrity, and prototyped in solid wood before entering production.

This marriage of traditional hand drawing and modern precision engineering ensures that each design honors both the craft heritage of Balochistan and the demands of contemporary living.
